Our School

Barnane National School is a rural, Catholic school located 5 km outside Templemore and Borrisoleigh in the parish of Drom and Inch, Co.Tipperary. Nestled at the foot of the Devil’s Bit, we are surrounded by beauty and nature.

Barnane National School prides itself on delivering a high standard of education, a well balanced curriculum in a happy, supportive environment. Our staff consists of three mainstream class teachers, 1 full -time SET teacher, one shared SET teacher, a full-time SNA, secretary and caretaker.

Our dedicated team ensures our pupils academic needs are well catered for whilst balancing the emphasis on their social and physical development. In addition, the low pupil-teacher ratio within Barnane National School allows every child receive the attention and time they deserve to flourish in their primary school years.
