What a wonderful way to spend the day . All our hard work from Spring paid off and we thoroughly enjoyed the fruits (or vegetables in this case!) of our labour !! Our wildflowers are so beautiful and the bees are While we enjoyed working in the school garden and growing our very own vegetables, we loved eating them more. Mmm…how fresh does our lettuce look?! We can happily confirm that it was ALL delicious.

Spring has finally arrived and we spent the afternoon in school doing a spring clean and planting the fruit and vegetable seeds in our school garden. We planted chives, spinach, lettuce, carrots, turnips, potatoes and strawberries. This year we have decided to create a ‘wildflower’ garden. The children prepared a section of the garden and scattered a variety of wildflower seeds. We are looking forward to the coming weeks and seeing the fruits of our labour!
