Congratulations to our Second Class children who received their First Holy Communion on 14th May 2022. The children participated in a beautiful ceremony celebrated by Fr.Murphy. Our pupils sang like angels in the choir, played their instruments wonderfully and represented the school excellently. We are very proud of each and every one of them .

Barnane National School’s Parents’ Association are delighted to announce the return of the Easter Sunday Dawn Mass and Walk on 17th April. This event starts with an early morning Mass celebrated by Fr.Murphy ,(approximately 6 am, time TBC), at Tom and Frances Kenneally’s house, followed by a walk up the Devil’s Bit Mountain. Congratulations to our 14 children from 5th and 6th Class who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on 16th March in St.Mary’s Church, Drom. We were blessed with the beautiful weather, a wonderful ceremony by Fr.Murphy and fabulous musical performances from our children. We are so proud of you all. Congratulations all. Fundraising For Ukraine

A huge thank you to our school community for donating so generously to our Lá Buí agus Gorm fundraiser in aid of Medical Help Ukraine. We managed to raise approximately €345 in total. Just amazing!
